At least we don't hear the countdown timer anymore.Įdit: I looked it up and it was in the original Banana Blitz as well.

Of course they could change it, but I doubt it'll happen since they've been using this sound for years. So it's very much an intentional choice and not some kind of bug or something. Sadly there's nothing to "fix" here since the sound is identical to the rolling sound of Banana Blitz HD (maybe even the original BB). So people can complain/give feedback all they want, but if it only happens in a thread like this sadly I doubt people over at Sega or RGG will notice it. I've asked in this thread if there was a way to send feedback to Sega and let them know the sound is off, but no one replied. Even on tweets or Instagram posts by the official SBM accounts I don't see people talking about it in the replies. Of course I could've missed some places where it was brought up, but it appears to be something that only bothers the 'hardcore' Monkey Ball crowd. I've only seen people in this thread complain about it and I've seen one person mention it on YouTube in a trailer analysis saying it doesn't sound like the old games (so not really a complaint, just an observation). To be fair they might not even be aware of the fact that people don't like the sound. I'd love nothing more than to blindly pre order the game, but past experiences suggest that would be an unwise move. Once again, hopefully I'm merely being paranoid due to a long list of previous Sega and RGGS related screw ups, but I see no reason to take anything at face value until the game is out. Just not a fan of when remasters or remakes end up making the game they are remaking worse. I merely suggested caution until the game is released and it has a more in depth comparison between the originals and the remake.Īlso worth pointing out Im no Monkey Ball expert. This was never about something being "slightly off" but more about how I'm not convinced over the remake as the very same studio working on it have a history of messing up the exact things that cannot afford to be messed up in a Monkey Ball remake.

and the hilarious thing is, the first time players of the Yakuza remasters sure as shit noticed when physics were off on something like Bowling or Pool so its not exactly some elitist thing like your trying to insinuate. Click to shrink.I mean, you ignore my points about how RGGS has a history with messing around with physics, remakes and remasters.
